Aquamarine and solder pendant.
Not gonna lie… I fought with this one a bit.
Usually, when I solder, I fall into a flow and let the stone and the solder sort of take over. But I just couldn't get there with this one.
So I threw it to the side, gave up, and walked out of the room.
Then I had a little talk with myself about letting go of some of the tension and frustration I've been carrying in life lately.
And then I told myself: Get back in there and confront that stone! 😂
So I did.
And this time, I saw it in a whole different light.
Is it moody? Yes!
And that's exactly what finally made me see it differently.
I don't think every piece has to be easy—or even immediately lovable. Sometimes you just have to stop fighting it and let it become what it is. 💙
